GRAHAM - Betty Ruth Isley Fox McPherson, 83, of 3443 Boywood Road, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at her residence after several months of declining health.
She was a native of Alamance County, a homemaker, waitress and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Fox Sr.; second husband, Ben Lewis McPherson; parents, Grover Alfred and Betty Lewis Isley; brothers, James Isley and Kenneth Isley; and grandson, Thomas Roberts Jr.
She is survived by her children; Brenda Perry of Graham, Cheryl F. O'Neal of Snow Camp, Harry Fox Jr. "Bugs" and wife Donna of Hillsborough, William Fox and wife Deborah of Graham and Rhonda Smith and husband Tom of Burlington; brothers, Russell Isley and wife Jeanette of Burlington and Richard Isley and wife Ann of Graham; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Herbert Roach.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by the Rev. David Jackson. Burial will follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham on Saturday from 4 until 6 p.m. and at, other times at the residence.
