Mrs. Patricia Huffines Apple, 78, of McLeansville passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at her residence.
Patricia was born in Guilford County to the late E. P. Huffines and Mary Alice Breedlove Huffines on January 17, 1946.
She was a longtime member of Bethel Presbyterian Church in Gibsonville.
Patsy was a beloved Mother and Nana. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and embroidery. Her hobby of making dolls took up considerable time, but her greatest time was spent with her daughter and grandchildren, especially going to the beach together.
She is survived by her loving husband, Edwin Apple of 59 years; a daughter, Melody Bryant and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Dylan Bryant, Brooke Bryant Troxler and husband Michael, and Tyler Bryant. Patsy leaves behind her very much loved feline companion, Sadie.
Along with her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Huffines.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Pasty will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jenny Zima with the burial to follow at Friedens Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will take place prior to the service from 12:30pm till 1:45pm Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
Patsy was very concerned about the upcoming elections and she got to cast her last vote on Friday, October 15, 2024.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Friedens Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, 6001 Hwy 61, Gibsonville, NC 27249.
