Barbara Holland Garland, 91, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Monday, August 8, 2022.
A native of Stokes County, she was the daughter of Reuben Reed Holland and Fannie Baker Holland, both deceased. She retired from Burlington Industries after 30 years of service. Barbara was a member of Eastlawn Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Tracy Garland Stalker and husband David of Burlington; two sons, Ricky Wilkie of Corbin, KY and Mike Wilkie and wife Nancy of Burlington; grandchildren, Nita Tomb, Karen Hunter, Robert Wilkie and wife Monica, Presley Wilkie, Matthew Wilkie, Maycee Gambrel, Jeremy Stalker, Jessica Stalker, and Noah Hunter; 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sister, Margaret Carden, and two brothers, Richard Holland and Charlie Holland.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Wilkie; one grandson, Dustin Wilkie; and nine brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
