Hilda Stanfield Isley, age 89, of Graham passed away at her residence on Saturday, December 28, 2019.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Daniel “Danny” Ray Isley and the daughter of the late William Lewis Stanfield and the late Mary Claty Pickard Stanfield. She was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher. She was a retired employee of Lucent Technology.
In addition to her husband of the home, she is survived by her daughters, Dawn Green (Tim), Tami Northup (Doug) and Dana Foushee (Desie); six grandchildren, Kyle Smith (Paula), Brandon Smith (Shannon), Linsey Puckett (Adam), Allison Foushee, Jordan Foushee (Anna) and Calyn Foushee; six stepgrandchildren; two greatgrandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:45 pm prior to the service in the church sanctuary. The committal service will be held in the Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church, 4178 Mt. Hermon-Rock Creek Road, Graham, NC 27253 or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
