Joe Bennett (Benny) Ross, Jr., 68, of Burlington passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, June 23, 2021.
Benny was born in Alamance County on May 21, 1953 to the late Joe Bennett Ross, Sr. and Virginia Woodle Ross, who survives. He was preceded in death by a brother, Grant Ross.
Surviving are wife, Karen Bristow Ross, of the home; son, Joseph Brian Ross; brother, Barry Ross and sister, Rhonda Pope (Tommy); many nieces and nephews and a loving extended family.
Benny was a member of The Lamb’s Chapel. He loved to cook, garden and spend time with family and reading God’s word. He is with his Lord now. He had a true servant’s heart and will be missed greatly by all who loved him.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 2, 2021 at The Lamb’s Chapel in Haw River at 4:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Lamb’s Chapel Benevolence Fund.
