Obituary Online notes for Rev. Edward Gilmore BOYCE
Edward Gilmore Boyce, son Rev. Thomas Gilmore Boyce and Mary Lois [née Martin]Boyce, was born in the bounds of Salem A.R.P. church near Atoka, Tennessee; where his father was minister.

Edward Boyce was a graduate of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian College of the West, Bryson College in Fayetteville, Tennessee.

He then went on to Erskine Theological Seminary in Due West, where his father had studied. After graduating Erskine, Edward recieved his Masters and Doctorate Degrees at Union Theological Seminary in in New York City.

Rev. Edward Boyce was pastor at Troy A.R.P. in Troy, Tennessee, Gilead A.R.P. in North Carolina and Second Tampa in Florida. He also promoted education and worked as Director of Christian Education at Second Presbyterian and Director of Public Relations at Chamberlain Hunt Academy. Rev. Boyce was Chaplain of Erskine College and librarian of Erskine Theological Seminary at the time of his death on January 29th 1970.

Rev. Edward Boyce was married to Miss Frida Marie Summers of Grove Springs, Missouri. They had two children, William Edward and Karen Marie. 470, Rev Edward Gilmore Boyce
