Odom, Lessie, 94, homemaker, died June 3. Services 10 a.m. Saturday (Vondel L. Smith and Son South, Oklahoma City).

Lessie Odom went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the age of 94. She was born Aug 25, 1920 in Norman, OK to Lewis Merle & Sadie Haun.

She married the love of her life, Robert Lee “Doc” Odom and together shared more than 63 years of marriage before his passing on May 12, 2010.

Lessie dedicated her life to providing a warm & loving home for her family, serving the Lord and others. She was a charter member of Grand Blvd Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday School and was honored with a plaque of recognition for her 50 years of service. Lessie also enjoyed working in her yard, flowerbeds and rock garden in addition to watercolor painting. She will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 63 1/2 years, Robert Lee “Doc” Odom and sister, Josie Morrison.

She leaves behind her loving son, Robert Dustin “Dusty” Odom and his wife, Diana, their children: Brooke Floyd and her husband, Randy and Ryan Krueger; sister, Macie Jackson and her family and many other loving family and friends.

Services Saturday, June 6th, 2015, 10:00am Grand Boulevard Church of Christ, 1537 S.W. Grand Boulevard Oklahoma City, OK. Interment Dripping Springs Cemetery, Noble, Ok.
