Robert Lee "Doc" Odom went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at the age of 88.
He was born January 15, 1922 in Lexington, Oklahoma to his parents, Tom and Obra (Holsonbake) Odom.
Doc honorably served his country in the United States Navy and was a top airplane mechanic who was asked to go to New York at the end of the war to keep the planes running and bring the soldiers home safely.
Doc provided a warm and loving home by working for 23 different businesses throughout the years including being a homebuilder.
In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and horse racing.
Doc was preceded in death by his:
Parents; 2 Brothers; 1 Sister.
Doc is survived by his:
Loving wife of nearly 64 years, Lessie (Haun) Odom of the home;
Son, Dusty Odom and his wife, Diana of Edmond, OK;
Sister, Peggy Smith of Choctaw, OK;
Sister, Laverne Woolridge of Dallas, TX;
Sister-in-law, Wanda Odom of Norman, OK;
Countless friends.
