Dulcie Grattlee Bohannon, daughter of William Boto and Ora Osha Guinn Rader, was born September 16, 1923, in Rader, Missouri, and departed this life January 31, 2008, at her home in Conway, Missouri, with her loving family by her side.
On January 8, 1940, she was united in marriage with Everett Bohannon. To this union was born four children. At the time of her death, she and Everett had just celebrated their sixty-eighth wedding anniversary.
Dulcie professed her faith in Christ as a young girl and at the time of her death was a member of the First Baptist Church of Conway.
She was a cashier at MFA in Conway for twenty-six years. She enjoyed helping others and gave excellent customer service to all she came in contact with. She was adored by her co-workers and appreciated by her customers.
Dulcie had a variety of hobbies, including; crocheting, tending to her garden, and quilting. However, she most treasured the moments spent with her loving family.
She is survived by her husband Everett of the home; two sons, Elvin Bohannon of Conway, MO, and Earl Bohannon and his wife Kathryn of Wichita, KS; one daughter, Deloris Hendrix and her husband Stanley of Conway, MO; one sister, Carrie Jones of Forsythe, MO; twelve grandchildren, Judith Fugitt and her husband Steve, Jayne Robertson and her husband Randall, John Bohannon and his wife Lori, Kelly Hendrix and his wife Holly, Kent Hendrix and his wife Julie, Kevin Bohannon, Leslie Bradley and her husband Jay, Jerrod Bohannon, Megan Tresner, Andrea El Fadel, Lindsay Womack, and Corey Tresner; twenty-four great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and many friends.
Dulcie was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Judy Kay, one sister, seven brothers and a daughter-in-law, Joyce Bohannon.
She was a loving wife, caring mother, and fun-loving "granny," she will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
