Funeral Service for Everett E. Bohannon, age ninety-six of Conway, Missouri will be Tuesday, December 27th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Shadel's Colonial Chapel in Lebanon, Missouri.
Visitation will also be on Tuesday, December 27th, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. until service time at Shadel's Colonial Chapel.
Burial will follow at the Eureka Cemetery near Radar, Missouri.

470, Everett Edgar BohannonEVERETT EDGAR BOHANNON, son of William Jasper and Melissa Ann Hurt Bohannon, was born in Laclede County, Missouri, on July 5, 1920, and departed this life December 23, 2016, in Lebanon, Missouri, surrounded by his loving family. He had attained the age of ninety-six years.
Everett attended a rural school in the Eureka community for several years. He then served his country in the United States Navy for a short time. On January 8, 1940, he was united in marriage with Dulcie Rader and to this union was born four children. Dulcie preceded him in death on January 31, 2008, and a daughter Judy Kay, was stillborn. For many years, Everett farmed in both the Rader and Morgan communities. He was also employed with MFA Exchange in Conway, Noble Hudson & Son’s Feed Seed & Fertilizer, in Lebanon, and J. Ward Owen Garage. In later years, he enjoyed driving a school bus for the Conway Public School System. Everett was also a longtime member of Conway Volunteer Fire Department. Everett professed his faith in Jesus Christ many years ago, and became a member of the First Baptist Church of Conway, where he served as Deacon for many years. However, he more recently attended Twilight Baptist Church. He appreciated the love, prayers and visits from his church families. Although he worked very hard to provide for his family, Everett found time to collect turtles of all sizes. However, he especially enjoyed visiting with friends, but spending time with his family was most precious to him. He is survived by two sons, Elvin Bohannon and his wife Peggy of Conway, Missouri and Earl Bohannon and his wife Kathryn of Wichita, Kansas; one daughter, Deloris Hendrix and her husband Stanley of Conway, Missouri; one brother, Billy Bohannon and his wife Betty Sue of Conway, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; other relatives and dear friends. Everett was also preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Elizabeth Owens, and Dorrlis Cunningham; one brother, Elsie “Bud” Bohannon; and one daughter-in-law, Joyce Bohannon. Everett was a wonderful Christian husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him.
