Linda Marie Coffey, cherished daughter,sister,mother,grandmother and friend died early Friday, Oct. 1, 1999. Linda was born in Wright County on July 3, 1948 to Norvin and Jayma Scott.

Her surviving family include her mother, Jayma Scott of Grovespring;her sister, Hazel and husband Larry Hyden of Belton Texas;her sister, Phyllis and husband Delbert Cook of Grovespring;her brother, Larry Scott and wife Linda of Thomasville,North Carolina;her sister, Helen and her husband, Joey Greer of Jefferson City, MO;her sister,Norma and her husband Dennis Springer of Lebanon;two children, Eddie Coffey of Lebanon and Melanie and her husband Kurt Bredenkoetter of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Mason Blankenship and Codie Coffey. Linda was " Pretty Aunt Linda" to her fourteen nieces and nephews and to most of the children of her many friends and customers.

Linda worked as a hairdresser since her graduation from Lebanon High School in 1966. She has held membership in the American Business Women's Association and was an active participant in Joel E. Barber PTO. Linda's family was one of the founding families of the South Hwy 5 Church of Christ and she continued to be an active member until the time of her death.

She gave love with a childlike abandon and was wise beyond her years; she lived by her heart and Christian faith, always placing the needs of others before her own. 470, Linda Marie Scott Coffey
