MR BASCOM HARRIS DIES
Death is the Visitor After a Hard Fought Battle of 6 Weeks

Mr. Bascom Harris, aged twenty three years, died Saturday morning at 8 o’clock, after an illness of six weeks duration with typhoid fever. Mr. Harris had been desperately ill for two or three weeks and his death was not unexpected.

Hr. Harris lived about two miles north of Lexington. He was the son of Mr. T. B. Harris and was a young man of sterling worth and integrity. He was married a little over a year ago to Miss Addie Michael, a daughter of Mr. D. M. Michael, of Lexington.

The body was interred in the grave-yard at Ebenezer church Sunday afternoon. Rev. J D Arnold, of Lexington, conducted the funeral services.
