Mary Sue Coble, 91, of Burlington, NC passed away at Alamance Health Care Center on Friday, October 17, 2025.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Paul Monroe Coble and Mabel Lou Sharpe Coble, both deceased.
She retired from the textile industry and volunteered with the Elon Home and Good Shepherd Kitchen.
She loved the opportunity to help people. Mary was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Vickie Sue Kimball of Athens, GA and Jennifer “Carol” Church of Durham; son, Donald Rufus Joyce and wife Barbara of Elon; 10 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Brown and Helen Swinson and three brothers, Paul J. “P.J.” Coble, James Harold Coble, and William Steve Coble.
A private service will be held for the family. 261
