Robert W. “Bobby” Glosson
Mr. Robert W. “Bobby” Glosson, 78, of Graham passed away at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 5:35 p.m.
A native of Pittsboro, he was the husband of Carolyn Jones Glosson, who survives and the son of Robert C. Glosson and Edna Bright Glosson, both deceased.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Mr. Glosson was owner and operator of Glosson Refrigeration and Electrical Service, Inc. for 40 years.
He was a member of the Alamance County Electrical Contractors Association.
He was also a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Wayne Glosson of Graham and Steven Kelly Glosson (wife Shara) of Greensboro; daughter, Terry Zachary Bartelme (husband John) of Chapel Hill; two grandchildren, William Noah Glosson and Abigail Lauren Glosson; sister, Billie Kaye Martin (husband Melvin) of Burlington; and two nephews, Chris Martin of Cary and Gary Allen Jones of Virginia.
The funeral service will be conducted at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. by Rev. Amanda Dixson with the family receiving friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
