Alma Sue Tatum Hall
BURLINGTON - Alma Sue Tatum Hall, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at ARMC. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of 30 years to Richard Otie Hall who survives.
Sue was an independent entrepreneur and a 1964 graduate of Bartlett Yancey High School. Sue was a member of Staley Memorial Baptist Church where she served in the Ladies Fellowship and worked in the nursery. She was a member of the Graham Charter Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association. Sue loved her grand babies, Kittens and flowers and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Otie Hall of the home; daughters, Tammy Michele Futral Church and husband, Tony Edward Church of Yanceyville, Cheri Leigh Futral Setzer of Fair Oaks, California, Teresa Hall Lewis and husband, George of Altamahaw; son , Christopher Otie Hall of Statesville; sister, Cornellia Tatum Talley and husband, Lawrence of Burlington; brother, Jessie Leonard Tatum, Jr. and wife Edith Kirby Tatum of Durham; grandchildren, Heather, David and wife, Shirley, Jessie and companion, Billy, Tiffany and husband, Jeremy, Coury and companion, Kendel, Tonya and husband, Kevin, Justin and 7 great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Leonard Tatum, Sr. and Cornelia Frances Oakley Tatum and a brother, Jackie Wayne Tatum.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bennie Smith. The burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45 PM prior to the service and other times at the home.
