Marilyn Sue McKenzie went to be with the Lord Nov. 20, 2007. She passed peacefully at her home.

She is survived by her husband, Emmett McKenzie; four children, DeDe and David Shafer of Chesapeake, Darlene Swindell of Norfolk, Donald Fowler of Virginia Beach and Dale Gray of North Carolina; three stepchildren, Todd and Allen McKenzie and Mary Falls; five grandchildren, Andrea, Mason, Donald, Kaitlin and David and three great- grandchildren.

There will be a viewing Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, to be followed by a graveside service at Rosewood Memorial Park. 470, Marilyn Sue Jennings McKenzie
