Bobby Joe “B.J.” Russell
Mr. Bobby Joe “B.J.” Russell, 37, of Burlington died accidentally at his home at 352 North Hwy. 87, Burlington, NC on October 6, 2018. He was the son of Joe Alonzo Russell and Emily “Susie” Brown Russell, both of Burlington.
He was previously employed at the Raleigh Data Base Center and is currently employed at Alamance Community College. Bobby graduated from Western Alamance High School and went on to the University of Alabama and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He was a dedicated Alabama football fan. He spent his Saturdays grilling out and watching the Alabama Crimson Tide “Roll Tide” !!! He leaves behind uncles, aunts, cousins and all his friends.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Don Pegg and Mr. Dan Ingle with . the family receiving friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
