STALEY, N.C. - Infant William Casey "Will" Riggans, 9 days old, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

Born in Alamance County, he was the son of Brian Casey Riggans, who survives and Megan Mann Riggans, deceased.

In addition to his father of the home, survivors include maternal grandparents, Robin Lewis Mann and David "Al" Mann of Snow Camp; an aunt, Mikayla Mann of Snow Camp; three uncles, Jesse Riggans and wife Alisha, Terry Riggans and Kevin Riggans and wife Kristin, all of Siler City; paternal grandparents, Roy and Teresa Riggans of Siler City; maternal great-grandmother, Faye Lewis of Snow Camp; maternal great-grandparents, Alton L. "A.L." Mann and wife Ella Rae of Graham and Wilton and Ann Finch of Burlington; maternal great-great grandmother, Francis Sharpe of Burlington; and paternal great-grandmother, Mary Jane Wigington of Stoneville, NC.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by an aunt, Melissa Kay Mann, maternal great-grandfather, William W. Lewis; and paternal great-grandfather, William Wigington.

The funeral service will be conducted at Concord United Methodist Church, 4462 East Greensboro-Chapel Hill Road, Graham, NC 27253 on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. David King and the Rev. Jeanne Neal. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.

The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence of his maternal great-grandmother, Faye Lewis, 8281 South N.C. 87, Snow Camp, N.C.

Memorial donations may be made to any BB&T, to the Brian Casey Riggans Irrevocable Trust or to the NC Junior Holstein Association, 3540 Wright Farm Lane, Franklinville, NC 27248 or the NC Guernsey Association, 628 Sam Sharpe Road, Linwood, NC 27299.
