GIBSONVILLE - Loretta Wyrick Ward, 87, formerly of Gibsonville went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Hospice home. She was born in Guilford County to the late Herman Madison and Zona Anita Cook Wyrick. She was the wife of the late Lloyd Ward.
Loretta was a longtime member of Gibsonville Christian Church. She enjoyed growing flowers and spending time with her family and friends. Loretta was a good listener and never had anything bad to say of anyone she knew.
Survivors include her sister, Nadine Wyrick Boyles of Gibsonville; nieces, Janice Boyles King and husband, Beverly, Rhonda Strange, Lori Wyrick and Crystal Wyrick; nephews, Jeff Wyrick and Brandon Wyrick; great nieces, Tammy Coley, Annette Mitchell and Pam Chrisco; great nephews, Ray Stutts and Darren Stutts. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; brother, Harold Wyrick and a niece, Shelby Boyles Stutts.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of Loretta.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 2:00PM at Gibsonville Christian Church by Rev. William Baker. The burial will follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-6PM on Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home of Beverly and Janice King.
