Lloyd was the son of George Jackson and Clara (Evans) Ward. He married (1) Mary Leigh Foust and they were the parents of six children: Gloria Jean, Lloyd Vance Jr., (Son), Beverley Kay, Evelyn Faye, and (Son). He married (2) Loretta Wyrick and they were the parents of two children: Timothy and Angela.

GIBSONVILLE - Lloyd Vance Ward, 69; of 605 Broad St. died Thursday at Alamance Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Bartlett Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gibsonville City Cemetery.
A native of Johnson City, Tenn., Ward was an Army veteran of World War II and a retired textile employee.
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Loretta Wyrick Ward; son; Timmy Ward of Mebane;
daughters, Mrs. Jean Harrelson of Swansboro, Mrs. Faye Russell, Mrs. Kay Sutton, Mrs. Angela Rice, all of Burlington; stepmother, Mrs. Daisy Foust of Hopedale; sisters, Mrs. Thelma Foust of Hopedale, Mrs. Gladys Caulden of Burlington, Mrs. Juanita Rumple of Graham; half sisters; Mrs. Ruby Wright and Mrs. Patty Paullett of Burlington; half brothers, Randle Ward of Burlington, Buddy Ward of Morganton; ten grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m; today.
