Funeral services for Clyde M. McMillen, 64, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 1970 at the Cuba Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. John Moore officiating . Burial was in the Davis Cemetery under the direction of the Holman Funeral Home.
The church chior sang " Going Down the Valley", "We'll Understand it Better by and By", and Beautiful City of Gold". Escorts were Darrell and Wallace Moore, Chester, Jerry and Monroe McMillen and Clodys Calton.
Clyde M. McMillen, son of John and Sarah Miller McMillen was born in Laclede County, Missouri on November 28, 1905 and died on February 26, 1970 in the Wallace Hospital in Lebanon Missouri.
Survivors include his wife Mamie of the home; one daughter Mrs. Dottie Ruth Mace of Grovespring Missouri; one step-daughter, Mrs. Verba Faye Alexander of Kansas City; his mother, Mrs Sarah McMillen of Oolagah, Oklahoma; four brothers, Raymond,of Talaha, Oklahoma, Carl, of Dodge City, Kansas, Ira Earl of Ammarillo, Texas and Arthur Dale of Ramona Oklahoma; six sisters, Mrs Nora Calton and Mrs Audrey Moore both of Grovespring, Mrs Laura Sunday, Mrs. Irene Calton, Mrs. Iva Huntsfield and Ruby Wilhite, all of Oologah, Oklahoma; three Grandsons, Donald Eugene, Larry Lee and John Vernon Mace all of Grovespring; one Grandaughter Connie Faye Mace of Grovespring; one Great-grandson David Lee Mace and one Great-grandaughter Doris Kay Mace. 470, Clyde Millard McMillen
