Obituary Online notes for Benny HYDER
Mrs. Benny Hyder Barham Deavers, 78, of Greensboro, died Sunday, November 23, 2014 at her residence.

Born July 16, 1936 in Burlington, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Julia Hyder. She was a member of Calvary Church in Greensboro, and had worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years before retiring from High Point Regional Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Barham, her second husband, Richard Deavers, and a sister, Jo Brame.

Survivors include four children, Brad Barham, of Huntersville, Ben Barham and wife, Jackie, of Summerfield, Beth Barham, of Greensboro, and Brooks Barham and wife, Kim, of Summerfield; five grandchildren, Ashlee, Wesley, Sarah, Hallie, and James Barham; a great grandson, Kelby Henderson; and a nephew who affectionately knew her as Mimi, Clint Brame.

Funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Church, 1665 Pleasant Ridge Rd. in Greensboro, officiated by Rev. David Crabtree and Rev. Jacky Ritter. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Lake View Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6 until 8 at Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
