McLeansville – Thomas Wayne Brown died peacefully Saturday, May 19, 2018 at home with Ann, his loving wife of 54 years.
He was born January 27, 1941 to the late John E. and Mary G. Brown, also grandparents Debbie and Stiner Brown, Ira Wilburn and Eva Washburn Green.
He is survived by his wife Ann Russ Brown, brother, Mike Brown and wife Terrie, nephews Jeff and Steven Brown. Brother-in-law Ken Russ and wife Louise. Four special nieces and special friends Carolyn and David.
He graduated in 1959 from Page High School. He worked during his younger years for us Uncle Jack and Aunt Ruth at Jack & Tom’s Grocery and helped his dad in the tobacco fields. He was a long haul truck driver for Signal Delivery for 29 years. After that he worked for Auto Supply until his health failed.
The family received friends at Forbis & Dick North Elm Chapel on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm. Funeral service followed at 1:30 pm with Rev. Allen Myers and Rev. Danny Joyner officiating. Burial followed at Lakeview Memorial Park.
