Obituary Online notes for Harold Gene O’KELLEY
HIGH POINT - Harold Gene O'Kelley, 60, of Cambridge Drive died at 9:01 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 1994, at High Point Regional Hospital. He had been in declining health two years.
Mr. O'Kelley was born Nov. 15, 1933, in Guilford County, a son of Young M. and Mozelle Frazier O'Kelley. He had been a resident of High Point all his life and was employed by Thomasville Furniture Industries, Inc. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and was a past member of the Y Men's Club. On Dec. 18, 1955, he was married to the former Bennie Fogleman, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Rick (Connie) Tysinger and Mrs. Martin (Julie) Curtis, both of Winston-Salem; one son, Scott O'Kelley of High Point; his father, Young M. O'Kelley of High Point; one sister, Mrs. Stanley E. (Carolyn) Hendrick of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church by the Rev. John Bollinger. Interment will be in the Floral Garden Park.
The family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at Cumby Eastchester Drive Chapel, other times at the home.
