Son of James H Brown & Delilah
James was an independent owner and driver of a an 18 wheel truck. While taking a load of machinery to Norfolk Virginia his truck overturned and burst into flames. He was the only one in the truck at the time and he died as a result of the burns he received. He was between Franklin & Boykins Virginia when the accident happened.
He was survived by 3 sons & five daughters. Also surviving were two brothers, Floyd Brown of Jamestown, and Andy Brown of Whitsett, & one sister Mrs. Addie Sykes of Virginia Beach, Va.
