GREENSBORO Lillian Brown May, 87, of Greensboro, passed away August 21, 2016, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Lebanon Baptist Church with Reverend Carl Shelton officiating. The burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Lillian was born May 16, 1929, in Guilford County to the late James and Martha Jones Brown.
She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church for 48 years where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years and a member of the Ladies #1 Sunday School class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Calvin May, Jr.
She is survived by her children, William Randall May, Paul Eugene May and Martha May Anderson (Steve); grandchildren, Christopher Shane May, Amber Leigh May and Tiffany Lee May; great-grandchildren, Sasha Nicole Sutphin, Shianne Brooklyn Stevens and Kylee Rain Stevens and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Lebanon Baptist Church.
