Mrs. Elgrith Naylor Michael, 89, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 2, 2005 at Wesley Long Nursing Center, surrounded by her loving family

Mrs. Michael was born December 27, 1915 in Sampson County, NC to Boyd Ashley and Repsie Bass Naylor. She was the wife of the late Dwight D. Michael. Mrs. Michael was a life long member of Calvary Wesleyan Church where she was a member of the Jeannette Owen Circle, Women's Missionary Society and took pleasure in participating in all phases of her church until her health declined. She worked in the Millenary Department at Myers and was a wonderful homemaker and dearly beloved Mother and Grandmother who will be sadly missed.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 5th at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Pastor Gene Alexander. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Michael is survived by two daughters, Vivian M. Sutton and husband Billy, Susan M. Bartlett and husband Larry; son Kenneth Michael and wife Freda, all of Greensboro; three sisters, Lola Owens, Lillian Moser, both of Greensboro, and Ellen Hargette of Siler City; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband Mrs. Michael was preceded in death by her sister Willa Strickland and two brothers Vaden and Vernon Naylor.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Tuesday, January 4th, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
