She was married to Robert S. Allen on June 3, 1955, at Denver, Colo.
Irene was a member of the First Christian Church and was active in the Red Cross for many years.
She and her husband lived in Colorado before moving back to Alliance in the early 1980's. While living in Colorado she worked as a stewardess and received her "Wings" when she had logged 96,000 miles.
