Rebecca “Becky” Holt Cooke
Mrs. Rebecca “Becky” Holt Cooke, 93, of Burlington, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020, at her residence.
A native of Alamance County, she was wife of the late Hurley Ford Cooke, and daughter of the late Gurney C. Holt and Blanche Brown Holt. Mrs. Cooke was a Homemaker and a member of Bellemont United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her son Lawrence C. Cooke and his friend Deborah Isley of Burlington.
Mrs. Cooke was preceded in death by two sisters, LaRue Wagoner and Barbara Davis; and a brother, James C. “Buddy” Holt.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, September 11, at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham with Rev. Larry Janey officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM prior to the service, and other times at the residence.
Memorials may be made to Bellemont United Methodist Church, 4039 Markwood Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
The family would like to thank Mildred Holmes and Susan Rogers for their kindness and care of Mrs. Cooke as well as Amedisys Home Health Care.
