Obituary Online notes for Christine Laverne HODGES
Christine Bruton, age 53, of Ozark, died Sunday, November 7, 1999 in Cox Medical Center, South , Springfield. She was born September 3, 1946, and graduated from Bradleyville High School. Mrs. Bruton worked for Skaggs Community Hospital as a housekeeper. She was a member of Ozark Full Gospel Church. A son, Nathan Bruton preceded her in death on May 25, 1994. Survivors include: A daughter, Melinda Merritt and her husband Ottie, Ozark; a son Jeff Bruton and his wife Lisa, Seymour; two grandchildren, Charles Bruton and Rebekah Merritt; her parents, Charley and Ora Hodges, Springfield; her long time companion, Richard Yarberry; brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 10, at Ozark Full Gospel Church with Pastor James Eakins officiating. Burial will be in Sparta Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Visitation was Tuesday in the funeral home.
