Obituary Online notes for “Dizz” Harold Dean REECE Sr.
Harold “Dizz” Dean Reece, Sr., 84 of McLeansville, NC spent his last days surrounded by his loving family and passed away at Randolph Hospice House on August 1, 2020.

Born December 22, 1935, in Guilford County, son of the late Howard Clark and Annie Welker Reece, Harold was a lifelong member of Mt. Hope United Church of Christ. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family and his work ethics. He loved farming and hard work and was always willing to help his neighbors and his grand kids. He also loved his animals especially Ruthie his mule. Dizz enjoyed tinkering in his shop, having pig pickins and cooking for the holidays.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife who passed in December of 2019, Doris Greeson Reece; grandchildren, Amber and Anthony Nance and his son-in-law Eddie Minor.

Those left to cherish his memory include his five children, Pam Minor, Sharon Nance (Donnie), Cynthia McGee (Dennis), Harold Reece, Jr., Timmy Reece; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving is other extended family.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to his granddaughter, Kimberly for being his advocate and taking such good care to make sure Doris and Harold got the best care. Thanks for all the staff at Universal Healthcare that loved “Paw Paw” and took care of him for the last 3 years and for Mt. Hope Church for all the prayers and cards.
