Obituary Online notes for Ann Ellen STANLEY
EDEN — Ann Stanley Grubbs Jones Pruitt, 71, of 324 Cherry St., passed away early Monday morning, August 27, 2007, at Morehead Memorial Hospital.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, at Gospel Road Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Pruitt was born in Rockingham County on January 9, 1936, a daughter of Woodrow and Nettie Stanley Gwynn, both deceased. She was retired from Sylvania Electronics.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Franklin Grubbs, Joe Q. Jones and Henry C. Pruitt; her daughter, Anita Bailey and son, Phillip Grubbs.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Lucas, Jo Beth Dunlap, Cathy Land, Ruby Clark, Jo Ann Justice, Maria Pruitt, Nancy Edmonds, Diane Busick, Betty Mays and Tina McDuffie; sons, Tommy Jones, Billy Jones, Emmitt Jones and Junior Jones; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
