Anita Jones Bailey, 40, 207 N. Washington Street, Apt. 207, died on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at Annie Penn Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2005 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Bailey was born in Reidsville. She was a caretaker for the elderly and loved arts and crafts. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Anita was preceded in death by her father, Joe Quincy Jones, Sr.; step-father, Henry Cecil Pruitt; brother, Phillip Wayne Grubbs, two infant sisters and one infant brother.
She is survived by her son, Rodger L. Bailey, Jr. and wife, Autumn of Reidsville; daughters, Tabitha Diane Smith and husband, Daron of Ruffin, Ashley Nicole Bailey and fiancé, Richard Carty of Madison, Jessica Lynn Bailey and boyfriend, Trey Minter of Ruffin; grandchildren, Levi Patrick Bailey and Daphnie Bailey; mother, Ann Jones Pruitt of Reidsville; father of children, Rodger L. Bailey, Sr. of Ruffin; numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
