ELON COLLEGE — Mr. Loften Wilbert Page, 86, of 1884 Pagetown Road, died Wednesday morning, Aug. 18, 1999, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Caswell County, he was the husband of Mrs. Lena Saunders Page, who survives, and the son of Mr. Thomas J. Page and Mrs. Sally Susan Page, both deceased. He was a retired tobacco and dairy farmer. He was a member of the Leasburg Hunting Club and the Cherry Grove Community Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors other than his wife of the home include two sons, Mr. Wilbert Page and Mr. Cecil Page, both of Elon College; a daughter, Ms. Barbara Mize of Graham; a brother, Mr. Melvin Page of Elon College; a sister, Ms. Lucy Page of Elon College; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Mr. Leonard Page; and a sister, Ms. Carrie Moore.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Gilliam Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will be at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 7 to 9 Friday evening, and at other times at the home.3, Mr. Loften W. Page
