Mr. Stewart is a lifelong resident of Cabarrus County, born December 7, 1921 to the late Joseph H. Stewart and Mayfield Little Stewart.
He retired from the Concord Post Office. He was an active member Epworth United Methodist Church for fifty years. He was very active in various church activities throughout the years, especially the hot dog ministry. A 32nd degree Mason, he was a member of Stokes Masonic Lodge #32, Concord.
He and his wife Mary Gwyn Stewart were married on March 18, 1951.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, Clarence and Leroy Stewart. 470, James Marshall Stewart
