Mr. William Wade “Bill” Taylor
ALTAMAHAW — Mr. William Wade “Bill” Taylor, 53, of 3045 Cherokee Dr., passed away Wednesday July 10, 2002 at the Hospice Home following six months of failing health. A native of Alamance County, NC, he was the son of Vernon Eugene, who survives and the late Rosa Martin Taylor.
He was a retired employee of The Plywood Store.
Survivors include his father, Vernon Eugene Taylor of the home; 2 sisters, Mrs. Doris Wagner of Altamahaw and Mrs. Marie Strange of Elon; best friend Kenny
Arrwood.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Altamahaw Pentecostal
Holiness Church by the Rev. Delmar Scotten, pastor of the church.
Interment will follow in Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery. Mr. Taylor will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory until being taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral service.
