Obituary Online notes for “Abner” Albert Eli KING Sr.
Albert E. “Abner” King Sr., 85, of Greensboro died unexpectedly Thursday morning in a Greensboro nursing home following an extended illness.

He was the father of W. G. King, A. E. King Jr., and Mrs. James H. Woody all of Burlington, and Mrs. Elizabeth Wyrick and Mrs. Sue Farrell, both of Graham. Other survivors include another son, two brothers, 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Final rites will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Forbis and Dick Funeral Home Chapel in Greensboro. Burial will be in Lee’s Chapel United Methodist Church cemetery in Greensboro.

The body will remain at the Forbis and Dick Funeral Home through the service. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 o’clock.
