A funeral service will be held at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. The family will receive guests from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm prior to the service.

Jeanette Loy May, 87, of Burlington passed away peacefully at Twin Lakes Coble Creek on June 25, 2021.
Jeanette was born on November 1, 1933 in Alamance County to George and Mozelle Loy, both deceased. Following her marriage to the late James Bennett May on June 29, 1957, she became a homemaker who selflessly dedicated her entire life to her family and to caring for others.
She will be lovingly remembered by daughters; Tina M. Kissel of Apex and Jeannine May of Burlington; brothers, Larry Loy and wife Helen and Dan Loy and wife Betty also of Burlington; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by brothers; George Loy, Jr. and James Loy; sister, Betty Lou Smith; and son-in-law, Mark Kissel.
A funeral service will be held at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. The family will receive guests from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm prior to the service.
