Kathryn A. Harper Breshears, 82, of Caldwell, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Autumn Winds in Caldwell of cancer.

Viewing will be on Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Kathryn's Funeral Service will be on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 10:30 AM at The Ustick Church of Nazarene, 817 W. Ustick Rd, Caldwell. Interment will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.

Kathryn was born on Jan. 8, 1930 and was one of seven children born to Inman Irving and Ollie Ethel Brooks Reding in Clarksville, TN where she grew up and attended schools.

She moved to Idaho after marrying Hal L. Harper on Feb. 2, 1951. They were blessed with 6 children in their 25 years of marriage. They later divorced. She later married Harlen Breshears. They also later divorced.

Kathryn worked as a seamstress for many years and enjoyed sewing, gardening, camping, and being with family. In later years, she enjoyed her friends at McDonalds, playing bingo and winning a game of kings corners. She attended the Church of the Nazarene on Ustick Rd in Caldwell for several years.

Kathryn is survived by three sons: Anthony Harper, Leon Harper and Brent Harper; two daughters: Teresa Moad and Lori Woods. And a dear friend Willy Southern, who was a shining light in her life. She is survived by 11 grandchildren: Amy Kirn, TaNelle Forgey, Brandon Harper, Jared Harper, Josiah Harper, Michelle Finholt, Micaela Hitchcock, Angela McConnell, Jeff Harper, Brooke Stallcup, Courtney Stallcup; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheryl Ann, her parents and siblings.

The Family wishes to give a special thanks to Autumn Winds and XL Hospice for their kindness, loving care and friendship during her last days here on earth.

She was welcomed into the arms of Jesus and we have many happy memories of our beautiful mother.
