Joyce Hall Cross, 74, passed away on Sunday December 19th, 2021 at her home surrounded by family and friends that she loved so dearly.
She was born on July 8th, 1947, in Alamance County, NC, to the late Walter Thomas Hall, Jr., and Azalea Mae Hall. She was married to the late Danny Cross for over 40 years.
She retired from Baby Needs Inc., in Burlington, NC. Joyce enjoyed sitting on her front porch rocking in her rocker and talking to family and friends that would come by to visit. She also enjoyed watching her Hummingbirds that she fed in the summertime from the porch. Her favorite thing in life was her family and having them to visit.
Joyce is survived by her children, Robin Isley and husband Robert Isley of Elon, Tammy Combs and husband Josh, of Silver City; grandchildren, Brock Wicker (Ashley), Jordon Wicker (Dr. Jordan Page Wicker), Seth Dickerson, Breanna Dickerson, Sierra Dickerson and Addison Combs; great grandchildren, Hanna Grey Wicker and Jackson Wicker; sisters, Pat Braxton and husband William, Peggy Wheeley and husband Jackie; brothers Boog Hall and wife Lois, Jim Hall and wife Pat, Bobby Hall and wife Paula, along with many special nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased in death by her son Jeffrey Todd Cross, parents, and brothers Larry Hall, Wesley Hall, and sister Shirley Sutton, and grandson Trey Dickerson.
A visitation will be from 1-3 pm on Thursday, December 23rd, 2021 at Lowe Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service to be conducted immediately after at Alamance Memorial Park, in Burlington, NC. 256, Joyce Hall Cross
