Azalia Mae Hart Hall
   BURLINGTON — Azalia Mae Hart Hall, 89, of 1586 Sandy Cross Road, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.

   Mrs. Hall was born November 8, 1921 in Alamance County to the late Millard Freeman Hart and Cordie Adeline Wilson Hart. She was married to the late Walter Thomas “Pete” Hall Jr. Mrs. Hall retired from Carolina Hosiery and Biscuitville, and was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church in Mebane where she was in the Ladies Sunday School Class.

   Azalia is survived by four daughters, Shirley Sutton of Burlington, Pat Braxton and husband William of Mebane, Joyce Cross and husband Danny of Mebane, Peggy Wheeley and husband Jackie of Mebane; four sons, Jim Hall and wife Pat of Elon, Boog Hall and wife Lois of Graham, Craig Hall of Franklinton, N.C., and Bobby Hall and wife Paula of Burlington; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

   Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two sons, Larry Randy Hall and William Wesley Hall.

   A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Edgewood Baptist Church with the Rev. Brad Harrison and the Rev. Jim Rosser officiating. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.

   The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times at the home.

   The family wishes to express a special thank you to the 1st floor staff of ARMC and to the doctors of orthopedics and oncology for the special care given to their loving mother.

   In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Edgewood Baptist Church Building Fund, 476 Edgewood Church Road, Mebane, N.C. 27302.
