ELON – Doris Boone Wrenn, 82, of Elon, NC went to be with the Lord Sunday March 25, 2018.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday March 27, 2018 at Camp Springs United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A native of Caswell County, she was a daughter of the late Carl A. and Eula Underwood Boone and had lived in Caswell County her entire life.
She was a retired employee of Tower Hosiery Mill in Burlington, and was a faithful member of Camp Springs United Methodist Church.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband: David Shelton “Spanky” Wrenn, and brothers: Howard Boone and Leo Boone.
Survivors include sisters: Carlene B. Smith of Burlington, Virginia B. Herbin and husband Alvin of Gibsonville, and Agilea B. Satterfield and husband Henry of Gibsonville, many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be sent to The Building Fund of Camp Springs United Methodist Church 9168 Cherry Grove Rd. Reidsville, NC 27320.
The family will see friends following the service in the fellowship Hall of the church and at other times will be at the home of her sister: Angilea Satterfield 9163 Parkdale Rd. Gibsonville, NC.
