ELON - Willard Harold Lawrence, 67, of Elon went to be with the Lord Friday March 27, 2020 at Alamance Regional medical Center.
Private graveside services will be conducted Monday March 30, 2020 in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery.
A native of Alamance County, he was a son of the late Willard Lester and Bertha Gwynn Lawrence and had lived in Alamance County most of his life. He was a member of Ossipee Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon, was a retired employee of Proctor & Gamble, a N. C. licensed electrician, NC National Guard Veteran, and a faithful and devoted Christian.
Harold was preceded in death by his daughter; Emily Lawrence Farrar.
Surviving is his wife; Kay Somers Lawrence of the home, son; Justin Lawrence (Amanda) of Gibsonville, brother; John Lawrence (Barbara) of Haw River, Betsy Mitchell (Mitch) of GA, grandchildren; Michael Lawrence Farrar and Ava Brynlie Lawrence.
Harold will lie in state at Citty Funeral Home, in Reidsville, on Sunday, March 29, 2020, from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Online condolences may be made at www.cittyfh.com 470, Willard Harold Lawrence
