Joanne Jones Stanley,79, of Reidsville died Friday, October 21, 2016, at Wesley Long community Hosital.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00PM Monday, October 24, 2016, at Mizpah United Meth. Church and burial will follow in the church cemetery.

A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Rupert O. “Jack” and Frances Wagoner Jones and had lived in Reidsville most of her life.

She operated a craft business out of her home for many years, was a member of Hickory Grove United Meth. Church in Greensboro and was very active in the United Methodist Women’s group in her church.

Joanne was a 1955 graduate of Reidsville High School and was preceded in death by two granddaughters: Caleigh & Ashlyn Stanley and by her brother: Rupert O. “Ruchie” Jones.

Surviving is her husband: Robert “Bobby” Stanley of the home; her son: Robert Stanley Jr. (Natalie) of Reidsville, brother: Danny Jones (Beverly) of Reidsville; sister: Nancy Langston (Roy Mason) of Reidsville; grandchildren: Justin Stanley of Reidsville and Jessica Honeycutt (Micah) of Conway, SC; sister-in-law: Jann Jones of Reidsville, and many loving nieces and nephews.
