Margaret Cobb Pratt
BROWNS SUMMIT — Margaret Cobb Pratt, 84, of Turner Smith Road, passed away Monday, September 20, 2010 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Guilford County and the wife of the late Noah Edward “Ed” Pratt who died in 2007.
Margaret was employed for several years with Dixie Bell Hosiery and was a homemaker. She was a member of Apple’s Chapel Christian Church and a loving and devoted wife and mother.
She is survived by her son, Edward Jennings “E.J.” Pratt of Browns Summit and was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Elmore Jennings and Evie Hornbuckle Cobb; sister,Willie Paylor; and a brother, E. J. Cobb Jr.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Apple’s Chapel Christian Church with the Rev. C. Allen Myers III officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at Apple’s Chapel Christian Church.
