MUNCIE--Edward Leroy Hurdle, 71, died Tuesday in Ball Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Hurdle was born in Fort Wayne and lived most of his life in the Muncie are. He was a cabinet maker at Gold Cabinet Co., Chesterfield, and was a registered watchmaker. He was an Army and Navy veteran and a ham-radio operator.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanne West Hurdle; a son, Randy Allen Hurdle; two stepsons, Mike Byrd (wife: Penny) and Ricky Byrd; and a brother, Fred Hurdle.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
There will be no services or visitation. Cremation is planned with inurnment in Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Meeks Mortuary is handling arrangements.
