Rick A. Morgan, age 55, of Marion, IN, died Monday, June 8, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born October 1, 1959. Rick was the son of the late Jack E. Morgan, Sr. and his step-mother Idona L. Morgan.(FAG 145537197) Rick married Melanie Herbert on April 27, 1983.

Rick was a truck driver and retired after 20 years. He enjoyed watching the news, especially politics. He also enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. They brought much joy to him. Rick was also a former Abate Member.

He is survived by his wife, Melanie Morgan; One Daughter, Cori (Josh) Anderson, Summitville, IN; One Son, Derrick (Kyla) Morgan, Jonesboro, IN; Three Sisters, Nellie Gordon, FL, Deborah Gordon, WA, and Mary (Dennis) Cox, TN; Eight Brothers, Jack (Barbara) Morgan, Fowlerton, IN, Edwin (Trixy) Morgan, Marion, IN, Bill (Angela) Gordon, FL, Flint (Adria) Gordon, FL, Andy (Cathy) Gordon, TN, Paul (Tammy) Johnson, TN, Roger (Karen) Johnson, TN, and Mike (Debbie) Johnson, TN; Sisters In Law, Andrea Gordon, Ft. Wayne, IN and Holly (Mark) Bell, Hartford City, IN, Brothers In Law, Mike (Adrian) Herbert, TX, and Chuck (Brenda) Herbert, AK; Mother and Father In Law, Mike and Connie Weaver, MS, and Ferrell and Weda Herbert, KY; Seven Grand Children, Jesse, Jada, Tyson, Cody, Zen, Deidra, and Nolan.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ray Gordon, sister Debbie Utsler, and nephews Josh Hudson and Timmy Utsler.

Arrangements are being handled by College Park Chapel, Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Ave. , Marion, IN. Friends and family may call from 4:00-6:00 PM on Friday, June 12 with a funeral service following at 6:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Leudtke officiating.
