BURLINGTON - Mrs. Narva Stinson Isley, 87, of White Oak Manor, died at 7:55 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 1998, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a year of failing health, one day critical. She was a former resident of the Friendship Community.

A native of Schofield, Va., she was the wife of the late Mr. Fleet Worth Isley, and the daughter of Mr. Floyd Winford Stinson and Mrs. Leona Allred Stinson, both deceased. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Philathea Sunday School Class.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joyce I. Allen of Gibsonville; two sons, Mr. Lynn Isley and Mr. Michael Isley, both of Burlington; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Mr. Jerry Douglas Isley and Mr. Larry Lee Isley; a sister, Mrs. Ruth S. Cooley; and three brothers, Mr. Glenn Stinson, Mr. Winfred L. ``Wink'' Stinson and Mr. Fred M. Stinson.
