Mrs. Betty Sue Thompson Bobbitt, age 68 of 3491 Lambsburg Rd., Lambsburg, VA, wife of Mr. Romie Clark Bobbitt, died Thursday morning, November 20, 2003, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Mrs. Bobbitt was born May 13, 1935, in Carroll County, VA to the late William and Charlie Levora Sumners Thompson. She was a member of Fellowship Tabernacle and was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Romie Clark Bobbitt of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Terry Sharp, Woodlawn, VA; two sons, Scotty Bobbitt and Ronnie Bobbitt, both of the home; three grandchildren, Brandi Sharp, Woodlawn, VA, Mason and Tanner Bobbitt, both of Lambsburg, VA; a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Virginia Thompson, Galax, VA; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2003, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mt. Airy conducted by Rev. Kenneth Alley, Rev. Phillip Kelly and Rev. Eugene Edwards. Burial was in the Hawks Family Cemetery. The family received friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday at Moody Funeral Home of Mt.
