Clyde Thomas Boone, a native of Alamance County, was the son of Clyde Thomas Boone Sr. and Mary Farmer Boone, and the spouse of Myrtle Boone and Edna Irene Wilson. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Covington Wesleyan Church. Tommy worked for Cone Mills for several years and was proud to have worked as a police officer and then retired from Morrisette Paper Company. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to live life to the fullest. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He was the father of Jeff Boone, Greg Boone, Mark Todd Boone, Felicia Dawn Boone Sorrel, Mary Nicole 'Nikki' Boone Primm and the step-father of Denise Young and Dawn Richardson. His brothers were Jonnie Boone and Jimmy Boone. 470
